Most of the things we complain about are really beyond our control.
What’s the point then, yaking on and on about things you have no power to change?

But how do we stop ourselves from complaining?

Ok. The first step to stop complaining is
i) Simply becoming conscious of how much you complain
Take notice whenever you start complaining.
Ask yourself if you could control whatever it is you are complaining about.
If the answer is YES, then do something about the complaint.
If the anser is NO, then Ask yourself would you rather complain, or be happy.
The answer is obvious!

ii) Look at the other side of the coin
There are 2 sides of a coin.
When we are disstatisfied about something and complaining about things, we are looking at
just 1 side of things.
How about adjusting your perspective?
Flip the coin to the other side and you will see that things aren’t too bad after all!
Learn to count your dialy blessings, no matter how small they are!
Obviously, this is a little easier said than done.
Complaining is like an addiction. It is a hard habit to break.
The good news is this isn’t all-or-nothing.
Even when you do 10% less complaining, you will have an immediate positive impact on your life. Then, once you’ve decreased your whining by 10%, you can keep working your way down to complaining less and less.

Once your mind recognises that whining is helpless, it will begin to give up its efforts!
You will gain better control or your mind, emotions and your life!
